Dear Parents, Teachers, and Students:

Help Japan with Love!

A devastating earthquake and tsunami hit Japan on March 11 at 2:46 pm Japan time. Tzu Chi Tokyo chapter has opened up its office as shelter and Tzu Chi volunteers have already contacted shelters to assess the needs. In the meantime, Tzu Chi headquarters in Hualien, Taiwan shipped 50,000 kg of instant rice and 17,000 blankets, and the shipment has arrived Japan on March 14.

Starting Sunday March 13, Tzu Chi has begun a series of fundraising campaign throughout the United States in order to help the sufferings in Japan. As one of the Tzu Chi Foundation chapters, Boston Service Center started the fundraising on March 13th in (Boston) Chinatown, (Burlington) Hmart, (Boston) Cmart, (Quincy) Kam Man Plaza and other public venues.

Tzu Chi Boston Service Center sincerely asks you to send your love and care to the victims in Japan; wishing that they would soon return to their normal life. For making a donation, please contact Tzu Chi office at 617-762-0569 617-762-0569 or any Tzu Chi commissioners for more details.

Our greatest enemy is probably not others, but ourselves.

Let us compete with whom is loving more, not with who is feared more.

We can never improve if we always make excuses for ourselves.
