五月七日僑教中心將於上午11:3 0至 下午3:30 舉辦一年一度的牛頓市台灣日活動 (Newton Taiwan Day)，慈濟波士頓當天將會在僑教中心設置攤位，當天到場參觀的家長，請讓學生穿著慈濟校服，於11:30AM一起加入人文學校遊行隊伍。
Culture Center will hold the annual Newton Taiwan Day from 11:30am to 3:30pm on Saturday 5/7/11. There will be a parade starting at 12:00 noon. If student is interested in participating in the parade, please check in at Tzu Chi booth at 11:30am. The participants are encouraged to wear Tzu Chi Academy uniform.
五月十五日波士頓慈濟人文學校早上10:30將開放給訪客參觀 (請參考附件)，早上11:30將舉辦母親節慶祝活動、慈濟成立紀念及浴佛典禮 ，請廣邀您的親朋好友一同參加。
Tzu Chi Boston Academy will hold an open house on Sunday 5/15 starting at 10:30 AM (please see attached flyers). Later Academy will also hold Mother’s Day, Tzu Chi anniversary and Buddha birthday celebration on 11:30 AM. You are welcome to invite your friends and relatives for both events.

If students and parents are interested in reviewing new textbooks during summer vacation, please register with Jennifer Ying and pay at least one semester tuition by 5/15. 舉辦送愛到南非的活動將會持續到九月底。請大家捐贈英文書籍(幼稚園程度)來幫助南非小朋友學習及響應"五元的力量"募款，幫助南非愛滋病患。
The send love to South Africa drive will continue until end of September. Please donate English books (kindergarten level only) and pledge power of five; commitment ($5 per month) to help AIDS patients in South Africa.
學校急需學生與家長志工協助準備結業典禮，有興趣者請與活動組林師兄聯繫。誠徵兩名大愛小記者 (7 –12 歲) 負責報導簡短新聞和兩名節目主持人 (12 歲以上) 負責介紹所有的表演節目及掌控節目流程。我們將會給予學生們專門的訓練。

Two program hosts/hostesses (>12 years old) are wanted. They will introduce all performance and control program flow. Two young student volunteers (7 - 12 years old) are also wanted. They will play TV news anchors and report several brief news pieces during the ceremony. We will provide a training workshop for all student volunteers.

To encourage parents to join school teaching staff and further promote teacher’s welfare, next school year school will begin to offer significant tuition discount to teacher’s children. Please ask Sister Vickie or other school personnel for the details.

3F Carr room of the New England Conservatory, Jordan Hall Building on 8PM May 7th. Chingwei will play two Bach trio sonata, F.Couperin Les Concert Royaux, Vivaldi sonata and Contata with singer Sarah Moyer, Violist Wenting Kang and Great Mr. John Gibbons on Harpsichord.
Our recorder teacher will hold a graduation concert. He would like to invite all of you to attend. Please ask Meiling or Jeff for details.
