·         本週(6/2)青少年樂團課外活動暫停一次。

Youth Music Ensemble class is cancelled this Sunday (6/2) due to teacher’s schedule conflict.

·         學校將於2013年6月16日在慈濟波士頓連絡處（15 Summer St Newton, MA 02464） 舉辦結業式。

End of school year ceremony is schedule on 6/16 at Tzu Chi Boston Service Center.  The address is 15 Summer St Newton, MA 02464.  Please mark your calendar.

·         繼續招募學校結業式的節目主持人(12歲以上) 及紀念冊光牒封面設計(學生、老師與家長均可)，有意者請與毓雅師兄聯繫-- Jeff Lin, tatabox2@gmail.com) , 感恩！

·         本週第一節下課時間，請老師們和校務人員，到影印區集合照團體照 ！

·          靜思語繪畫比賽的結果已經出爐了! 雖然我們必須評出優等作品，其實每一位同學都是優勝者，也都發揮想像力畫出許多有趣味的畫面。學校將保留優等作品在結業典禮展示，其他作品將交由各班老師發回。

The winners of the Jin Si Aphorism drawing contest have been selected. Though we have to select winners, every contestant is a true winner for creating so many wonderful works.  We will exhibit selected works and return others to students.

·         5/5 母親節親子活動

母親節親子活動將於本週日5/5早上11點 在Gym 舉行，希望所有家長、老師與同學們一同參加以表達對母親由衷的敬愛。這次的活動，需要爸爸媽媽陪同小孩一起參與同樂。

Parent-children fun activities will be held on May 5 at 11am at Gym to express our appreciation to all Mothers.   All students who participate require their guardians or parents in order to precede the family games.

·         5/5 學校Open House

Open House 將於這個星期日5/5舉行，還是請大家邀請有興趣學中文者來參觀教學。Open House 結束後，也歡迎來賓參加第三堂課的親子活動。

Please invite your friends who is interested in learning Chinese to come to 5/5 Open House.  We will also give a tour to classrooms for teaching demonstration.  After the Open House, guests are also welcome to join the family fun activity during the 3^rd period.

·         靜思語繪畫比賽　Jing Si Aphorism Drawing Contest

靜思語繪畫已經於上星期結束，比賽成績將於5/19公佈。每一位學生的作品將於這個星期天 (5/5) 作展示，請大家撥冗到Cafeteria觀賞學生的作品。

The Jing Si Aphorism drawing contest has been wrapped up; the results will be announced on May 19.   For your browsing pleasure, an exhibition of student’s works will be held at the Cafeteria on Sunday, May 5^th.

~ 2013年5月11日「親子成長班」叮嚀話語 ~

敬愛的爸爸媽媽：

1. 本學期最後一次活動時間為05/11-03:00~06:00pm，請您務必準時哦 ( 活動地點一樣在慈濟會所 )！

2. 名為「親子成長班」，是需要父母親一方的參與和陪伴，才能夠了解孩子的學習過程，所以務必請家長們，一定要有一位留下來，與孩子們同樂，否則就失去舉辦「親子成長班」的意義與目的囉！

3. 請您務必幫孩子們，準備環保杯、碗、筷、手帕、襪套，以及穿制服哦！

4. 這次活動當中，有安排與家長們座談的時間，希望您勇於表達一些意見或建議或感想哦！

5. 最後，還是要感恩愛心爸爸、媽媽的參與、協助與護持，也惟有如此的陪伴，才能參與我們孩子的學習成長過程，圓滿成就「親子成長班」的活動！
