學校將於本月二十四日舉辦送愛給南非學子的活動，南非的小朋友們非常缺乏簡單的文具和基礎書籍，歡迎大家一同響應捐贈文具(鉛筆橡皮擦)及英文書籍(幼稚園程度)來幫助他們學習。
On the April 24th, school will hold a send love to the students in South Africa drive, the children over there are desperate in need of basic school supplies and books, we encourage everyone to donate simple stationery (pencil and eraser preferred) and English books (kindergarten level only) to help them learn.

慈濟波士頓聯絡處誠懇邀請您參加慈濟紐約分會二十週年慶一日園遊會. 行程如下:
- 二O一一年四月十六日早晨六時由波士頓會所出發,
- 下午三時自紐約回程, 約七時抵波士頓會所.

You are cordially invited to a one-day trip to the New York 20th anniversary celebration held at Flushing-Leavitt Park. The celebration will include a field contest (運動會) and family activities, such as garden party (園遊會、攻佔遊戲) etc. The schedule is as below:
- Departure: 6AM, April 16 from Boston Service Center (15 Summer Street, Newton MA 02464)
- Return: around 3PM , April 16 from NY (arrive Boston Service Center 7PM)
- Bus, food, beverage will be arranged by Tzu Chi Boston Service Center.
- To register, please call Jennifer Ying at 603-380-3715, 603-643-6407 if you are Tzu Chi Academy teachers, parents and students.
- For general public, Tzu Chi members, volunteers or commissioners, please call sister Hui-An at 508-581-9788 to register.
- Boston Service Center is in charge of 8 games, and need 10-14 volunteers to do the pre-event set up on 4/15, thus, this group will leave for NY on 4/15 around 5PM. If you are interested, please contact Jeff Lin at 617-964-6567. We will arrange transportation, food and accommodations.

家長園地 Parents Activities:
· 本週日(4/03) 於餐廳舉辦家長咖啡時間。 本週將由藍淑錦老師和Yumei與大家分享編織方面各種技巧。 舉凡棒針或鈎針編織方法，及各項圍巾手套毛衣等作品作法，都和在場家長一一分享，對編織有興趣的家長，千萬不要錯過。當然也歡迎家長們準備自家小點心來一起享用咖啡時間。
There will be Parents Coffee Time in the Cafeteria this coming Sunday (04/03). Instructor 藍淑錦and Yumei will share with everyone knitting techniques, including knitting and crocheting, the final works and methods for making various scarf, mittens and sweaters. For parents who are interested in knitting, please do not miss this opportunity! We also welcome parents to bring in homemade dessert to share during coffee time.

We are planning for an Easter egg hunt event. Please contact Meiling for details if you are interested in helping and participating.
- 明年，從一年級起，語文課將統一使用美洲華語教材，有些家長提議在暑假前拿到課本以便小孩利用暑假預習，如有此意願的家長請在5/22前至註冊組註冊繳清學費(至少半年) ， 校方將統計數量先行訂購。
School will adopt new textbooks edited by mzchinese.org next school year. If students and parents are interested in review the new textbooks during the summer vacation, please register and pay at least one semester tuition by 5/22. School will make advance order and ensure earlier delivery by the end of this semester.
