本週日將舉行這學期第一次懇親會，這次懇親會的主要目的是讓老師有機會向家長說明教學目標與傳授方式，同時充分瞭解家長與同學的需求，也讓家長與老師能互相認識，建立未來順暢的溝通管道。校方也體認到目前懇親會的時間安排對部份家長可能造成不便，將會在討論與溝通後，在下次懇親會之前採取適當的改進方案。學校也鼓勵家長與老師們自行安排。
特別重申學校不容許有任何暴力行為發生，希望家長與和老師們要多給同學們愛的叮嚀。為了保障大多數同學的權益，學校對任何違反校規的行為將會依既有規定處理(請參酌附件)。請家長和同學們善解包容。感恩您的合作!

Dear Parents, Teachers, and Students:
The first parent teacher conference will be held on 11:30 AM this Sunday 9/18. The main objectives of this conference are to allow teachers to communicate their goals and approaches to parents and to understand the needs of parents and students. Additionally, this conference provides an opportunity for parents and teachers to establish future communication channels. We recognized the current conference schedule might be inconvenient for parents who have multiple students enrolled. We will discuss with teachers and staff and propose changes to future conference schedule. In the mean time, we welcome parents to discuss with teachers to arrange more convenient schedule.
Any violent behavior will not be tolerated in our school. We plead with our parents and teachers to communicate with our students about the importance and seriousness of proper behavior. For the safety and benefit of our students, school will follow established guidelines (please see attachment) and take necessary measures against any serious misdeeds. We asked for your understanding and patience. Thank you for your cooperation.

• 9/18 - September 18th is a regular school day and extracurricular activities are held after regular class. Parent teacher conference today for most classes.
• 9/25 - September 25th is a regular school day and extracurricular activities take place after class. A parent/school conference will be held in the second period. September 28th is Confucius’birthday as well as Teacher’s day in Taiwan.

• For those who have not registered, please complete the registration with Jennifer Ying. Last year, we gave away a uniform per student. This year, we will still give away uniforms to new students or returning students who did not receive a uniform last year. Please ask for one from Jennifer Ying. If a returning student who received the uniform last year, but needs a new one this year, please purchase at $10 per uniform.
• There are some changes in the selection of extracurricular classes (Recorder class was cancelled and Calligraphy is added for students of six years older).
