經過長長的假期，有年節的歡喜，有瑞雪的兆年，有平安的祝福，更重要的是星期日(02/24)再見面時不是生疏，而是更增添相聚的溫馨。這星期日，除了開始第二學期的課程外，也將在第三堂課上靜思語。以下是當天上課的部分內容，希望您當天也能撥冗，走進教室後座，參與您孩子們的學習。唯有您和孩子們有共同的語言，才能更增進親子關係，也才能幫助孩子們在學習中成長。

1.讓孩子拿出鏡子，看看自己生氣的臉跟微笑的臉，詢問小朋哪個臉好看 ?
2.發給孩子“小畫家學習單”，畫出鏡中微笑的自己

親愛的家長，老師和同學們：

在這個週五和週六，正如大多數人可能已經了解到，估計會有極強烈的暴風雪，幾乎影響到整個新英格蘭地區，並且在麻薩諸塞州，預計將下降一到兩英尺的雪。 在暴風雪期間，我們也同時祈禱，社會無災、人人平安，慈濟想提醒你的個人人身安全。 在暴風雪期間，除了可能停電的準備，您也應該盡量減少出門的機會。 最後，希望您有一個平安的週末！

 Dear Parents, Teachers, and Students :

As most of you probably have learned, an epic blizzard is forecast to impact almost entire New England on Friday and Saturday and is expected to drop one to two feet of snow in Massachusetts with strong wind.  While prays for minimal damage, Tzu Chi would like to remind you about personal safety.  In addition to making preparation for possible power outage, you should also minimize any travel during the storm.  We wish you all have a safe weekend !

2013年春節聯歡

    學校將於2013年2月3日在慈濟波士頓連絡處(15 Summer St, Newton, MA 02464)舉辦一年一度的春節聯歡活動。當日有精彩的節目表演及富有趣味性的遊戲攤位，愛心爸爸媽媽也準備了好吃又應景的過年小點，邀請大家一起來共襄盛舉。中、英文活動內容如附件。 慈濟波士頓會所電話：617-762-0569。

 ＊＊＊　提醒您：

1. 請小朋友穿著學校制服，若有襪套也請自行攜帶襪套。

　　2. 記得帶竹筒回娘家喔! 這次竹筒的捐款將捐贈給珊迪颶風災區的居民。

        3.早上 9:30~9:50請各班老師和學生按照各班級sign標示順序入座。

2013 New Year Celebration

 　　A New Year celebration will be held on Feb. 3, 2013 at Tzu Chi Boston (15 Summer St, Newton, MA 02464; Tel: 617-762-0569), and you are cordially invited. The New Year celebration will include various performances, several game booths and delicious Chinese year cake etc.  We’ve attached the flyer to this email.

1.     Please wear school uniform and bring your own sock if you have.

2.     Remember bring your Bamboo Bank if you have one.  The Bamboo Bank money will be contributed to affected families from Hurricane Sandy.

3.     9:30~9:50am Teachers and students take seats which will be indicated with sings.
