校園花絮 – 十二月份行事曆December Highlights:
• 12/13–正常上課日。課外活動照常。
December 13th is regular school day with extracurricular after class.
• 12/20–正常上課日。靜思語教學。課外活動暫停。
December 20th is a regular school day. No extracurricular and Jing-Si Aphorisms lessons will be held after class instead.
• 靜思文物新進書籍、食物已到，預將於12/20/2009在人文學校設攤銷售, 請家長勿失良機請購。
New Jing-Si books and food orders have arrived, and will be ready for sale in school on 12/20/2009. Parents please don’t miss the chance to purchase the newest items.
• 送文具至海地將於12/20/2009於學校展開，請家長開始陪同學生們準備用過或新買的文具，屆時送至學校捐贈箱一起收集送出。
School Supplies Drive for the Kids in Haiti will be held beginning on 12/20/2009. Parents, please encourage students to collect new or used school supplies, and drop them off at the donation stand in school. Thank you.
• 12/27–耶誕節停課。
There will be no class on December 27th. Happy Holidays!

• 為了預防大地沒有水，五穀雜糧無法生長、人類也無法生存。人心也要有淨水，才能調和天
地、免除災難。
Prolonged droughts can cause famine and other disasters which threaten the very existence of humankind. To prevent such disasters from happening, everyone must appreciate the precious resources on our earth.
• 「水是人類之寶。缺乏乾淨用水，將引起疫病；農作因缺水歉收，將導致饑饉。人人
務必用感恩心珍惜水資源。」
Water is a treasure to humanity. Without water, disease and famine would occur. Therefore, we must try to save water as much as we can.

The Tzu-Chi parent team is offering a parenting seminar for parents. The team encourages and welcomes all parents to get involved.
