校園花絮 – 十二月份行事曆December Highlights:
• 12/20–正常上課日。靜思語教學。課外活動暫停。
December 20th is a regular school day. Jing-Si Aphorisms lesson will be held after class that day.
• 12/27–耶誕節停課。
There will be no class on December 27th. Happy Holidays!!!
• 本周JGMS 餐廳關閉，家長請使用功夫課教室休息。
The JGM Cafeteria will be closed this week. Parents can stay in the Kung-Fu room.
• 如果氣象預報有暴風雪來襲，路況不適或積雪超過六英吋，學校將會於周日早上七時半前以電話和電子郵件 通知。請家長在早上8:30或出門前注意學校送出之郵電通知，如仍有疑問，請與各班老師電話聯繫，或電617-492-8499/ 781-559-3190詢問。
If a snowstorm is forecasted to affect the region on a regular school day, the school will monitor the weather condition closely. If the expected snowfall exceeds six inches over the Bedford area or the condition is deemed unsafe for travel, the school will announce its cancellation both by phone and by email before 7:30am on Sunday. Please check your email or voice mail by 8:30 AM. If you are still unsure, please call either your teacher, or 617-492-8499, or 781-559-3190. Be safe.
學校會在12/20 第三堂課舉辦全校靜思語教學，此次教學主題將針對送文具到海地活動作教學， 也請家長鼓勵同學將家裡多餘之文具（用過或全新的）當天捐贈出來，學校收集後統一寄出。如果12/20因暴風雪停課，請將捐贈之文具改於1/3送到學校，感恩您!
School will hold Jing-Si Aphorisms lesson on 12/20. The focus of the lesson will be our School Supplies Drive for Kids in Haiti. Please encourage your children to donate their excess school supplies (new or used) during the lesson. School will collect and send all donations to Haiti. In case 12/20 is cancelled due to snowstorm, please bring your donations to school on 1/3/10 instead. Thank you.

愛心家長園地 Parent Volunteer News:
• 惜福站 XiFu Station
惠敏師姐捐出的二手衣物及用品，經過兩週在惜福站展示由大家自由認購，義賣所得款項約三百七十七元， 已悉數捐入學校現金帳，做為學校設備及教材添購基金。 ﹝待有明確採購物品或教材品項時會再將明細貼出﹞
Clothes and other items donated by Sister Hui-Ming have been on sale at the XiFu Station for the last two weeks. A total of $377 was raised so far and the amount has been donated to our school cash reserve fund. The funds will be used to purchase necessary school equipment and textbooks. (Expense details will be disclosed whenever the funds are spent for school supplies.)
感恩大家熱烈選購惜福站義賣貨品， 既發揮惜物愛物心情，又為學校募得基金。 下週開始， 請家長們也可分批加入惜福站捐物義賣﹝下週從五六年級家長開始﹞， 只要是堪用物資， 不分新舊， 都歡迎捐贈予學校義賣。 所有義賣所得一樣捐入學校現金帳，用之於學校設備或教材購買。
We appreciate all participants in the XiFu station fundraising activity. This activity did not only show our commitment in conservation, but also raised funds for our school. Starting from next week (12/20), all parents are welcome to participate in our XiFu Station. (Next week, donations will be collected from Grade 5 and Grade 6.) We will accept your donation as long as the items are in working condition, regardless new or used. All proceeds will support our school.
迪士尼冰上秀優惠票也歡迎至惜福站登記購買。 12/28和12/29下午各有一場迪士尼冰上秀， 優惠票價只要15元, 數量有限，有意家長請直接至惜福站向伊玲登記購買。
Disney on Ice discount tickets for 12/28 or 12/29 afternoon are available at XiFu Station. The ticket costs only $15 each, and the quantity is limited. Please contact Yiling at XiFu Station ASAP if you are interested.
• 生活教室 Life Classroom
生活教室活動因下週場地限制，順延一週。
Because the JGMS cafeteria is closed on 12/20, Parent Life Classroom will be postponed for the next school day.

In preparation for the Chinese New Year Celebration (2/7/2010!), we are looking for parent volunteers to help operate the game booths and supply food and drinks.
