送愛到南非的贈書已於三月二十日自新澤西州的伊利莎白港口離港駛向南非的Durban港口，再經由內陸到達約漢尼斯堡。感恩兩個多月以來紐約、長島、新澤西、費城、波士頓、休士頓、達拉斯、聖路易、明尼蘇達、亞特蘭大、華府、匹茲堡、克里夫蘭、哥倫布、底特律、奧斯汀、邁阿密等分會、所屬分支聯點、人文學校、人文班及兒童精進班，用心所募集的物資，總共有書26,329冊、 玩具2816件、文具42,313件。二月二十五日由新澤西165名志工開始了整理與分類，打包匯整完畢並裝箱。三月十日則又聚集了將近26名志工將503箱的物資裝上20呎的貨櫃中，滿滿貨櫃的物資有著大家的愛心，這份愛已漂洋過海到南非，而這愛的傳遞將會是南非的學童們知識寶藏的來源，讓我們一起祝福這一群可愛的孩子們智慧開啟、有著幸福光明的未來，個個都能成為福慧雙修的社會棟樑。波士頓人文學校在此對您們以及新澤西的志工們致上無限的感恩。

Reminders and Highlights:
• Taiwanese traditional folk art festival will be featured at the park beside the Boston Chinese Cultural Center (Newton) on May 5 from 12PM to 5PM. Everyone is welcome!
• A trash bag containing rubbish and Chinese newspaper was found two weeks ago in the JGM parking lot by one of our parent. Please be aware that such incident can potentially damage relationship between JGM and our school.
Campus–April Highlights:
• 4/1 – April 1 is a regular school day and extracurricular activities take place after class. Jing-Si writing and drawing competition begins. Registration of returning students begins.
• 4/8 – April 8 is a regular school day and extracurricular activities take place after class. Parent teacher conference.
• 4/15 – Spring recess no class.
• 4/22 – April 22 is a regular school day and extracurricular activities take place after class. Earth day auction.

Tzu Chi Activities:

• Current Students can register 2013 school year beginning on 4/1/12. Those who complete the registration and pay the balance by end of 2012 school year can enjoy a $20 discount. Master Cheng Yen’s Teaching and Jing-Si Aphorisms:
• If we learn to deal with compassion and love, we will not be annoyed and angry easily.
• Let all the past conflicts and troubles go. Start from fresh and remember simple is the virtue.
• It is better off to deal interpersonal relationship and conflicts with simple rules. Over complication and suspicion usually just generate additional troubles or conflicts.
• Troubles could not be caused by others but our own making. Therefore, it is up to us to eliminate the troubles.
• We should be always prepared for environmental disaster and carefully preserve every drop of water. Do not underestimate our own power to protect the environment. If everyone willingly contributes just a little, the world will soon become a much better place.
