2. 行事曆更改：
原訂3/10 朗誦/說故事/演講比賽延至3/17第三堂課。
原訂3/24期中考，因上課次數太少，將由各班老師自行決定在3/31或4/7其中一天考試。
Changes on the calendar:
The speech contest will be changed from 3/10 to 3/17.
The mid-term exam will be re-scheduled by teacher on either 3/31 or 4/7.
3. 「上學期學生學習評量表」將於本星期(3/10)由老師交給家長。如果家長們有任何問題，請儘量與老師討論。
First semester learning assessment will be delivered to parents on Sunday, March 10. Please feel no hesitation to consult with teachers for any questions you might have.
4. 三月十七日將於第三堂課舉辦朗讀演講比賽：
K2, K3朗誦比賽； G1, G2講故事比賽； G3以上演講比賽。請家長鼓勵並協助學生多作練習。如果學生有講稿的話，可請老師幫忙潤稿。
The speech contest will be held at 3rd period on March 17. The contest is categorized as below:
K2, K3 Read-A-loud; G1, G2 Storytelling; G3 and above Speech contest
Please assist your kids to practice at home, and feel free to ask teachers for help.
5. 三月廿四日10點至11點20分將由 陳志新 博士 於多功能 (功夫班) 教室舉行音樂研討會—中西音樂文化比較，陳老師將帶您由文化及音樂的角度來認識與欣賞不同的音樂之美，歡迎家長們踴躍參加。

7. 通常一學年度的上課周數為30周，但本校在行事曆上，所編列的上課周數是31周。這額外的1周即為「下雪停課」的預留周。所以02/24因下雪停課，不另外補課！
The official TCA curriculum requires only thirty weeks per school year. The TCA Boston existing curriculum however contains thirty-one week. Therefore, TCA Boston will consider snow day make up only if there are two or more snow days in the school year.
人文室Office of Humanities：
1. 阮紹裘 醫師 為人文學校擔任張老師，若有需要，請先與學校秘書 謝蕙如 師姊預約！ 阮醫師簡介：阮醫師是慈濟大學醫學系第一屆的畢業生，在台大醫院精神科接受住院醫師代訓後，於行政院衛生署桃園療養院擔任精神科主治醫師，對於憂鬱，焦慮，創傷後壓力症候群，以及人際溝通困擾有豐富的臨床諮商經驗。目前阮醫師在哈佛大學攻讀碩士學位，研究重點為青少年的藥物成癮，行為問題與精神疾病之預防。
Dr. Shao-Chiu Juan was graduated from the Buddhist Tzu Chi University in 2001. After receiving psychiatric resident training program linking National Taiwan University Hospital and Taoyuan Mental Hospital, he has served as an attending psychiatrist with expertise and insight into depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Currently he is enrolled in a Master's program at Harvard School of Public Health. His research interest focuses on how to prevent substance abuse, behavioral problem, and mental illness among the youth.
Tzu Chi Academy will visit nursing home on 3/16. We would like to invite Dance class students and Music Ensemble student to participate and other talented students to participate. If any students and parents are interested to participate, please contact Jeff Lin tatabox2@gmail.com
3. 請大家響應3月23日晚上8:30「全球熄燈日」熄燈一小時的行動。並請利用這個生活教育的機會，教導小孩節省能源救地球的觀念。
Earth Hour 2013 will be held on March 23, 2013 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at participants' local time. You are encouraged to join the action; and please take the opportunity to tell students that reducing electricity use is one of the effective ways of saving the Earth.
